Chrysanthemums (kiku in Japanese)  are the most prestigious flower in Japan, and one of the most popular fortune symbols in Japan. The family crest of the  Japanese royal family is also chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemums also represent longevity, nobleness and evil dispelling. This round ball shape chrysanthemums are particularly called 'Temari-giku' because of their temari (Japanese decorative woven balls) shape, and they are precious. Pine tree motif is also known as a fortune symbol and one of the most popular motifs.

There are subtle japanese botanical and origami motif (collection of Japanese fortune symbols)  jacquard details in the fabric.

The texture is soft and light, very comfortable to wear as a dress or gown.
