Circa 1920-30's Silk Shibori Tie-dye Haori Jacket

Its flame like bright orange and red illuminate your closet.

Shobori tie-dye is one of the Japanese traditional dying tecnique which involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing.
It requires loads of time and a mastery skill.

Floral pattern is depicted all over the haori jacket using the technique.



Period: circa 1920-30s

Condition:
Except for a fixed hole on the left shoulder, which is almost invisible the condition is quite good.
We consider that it is  still very wearable. We aim to describe the kimono as accurate as possible. Extra images will be available on request.

kimonos are almost rectangle shape. it will fit many sizes. Please check the measurements. The torso is UK 10 size body.
